THE KOREAN WAR Battle of Kapyong was once  again commemorated at Southport RSL Club on 24^th  April.  Guest Speaker, Comm. Peter Rankin, addressed  an  attentive  audience, including  a  contingent from Beenleigh RSL, and Members  of  the  Gold  Coast  Korean  Society; who, themselves  hold  an  annual Remembrance Day Service and  luncheon to  honour all  Korean War Veterans. A social gathering  after  the service was held in the Club, and as always, the Southport  Hosts were unstinting with their friendly hospitality.

MANAGEMENT, MEMBERS and friends got together on the 10^th of  May to make sure DICK BARNS enjoyed his birthday.

POPULAR muso and entertainer  DICK   BARNS  celebrated   his  birthday  last week  at  the club, and  after this gift of Scotch   from  RICHARD,  it  looks  as though he won’t go without a drink. for a little while!!!!)
